Dr. Fakhry El Fiky has experience in the field of economic and financial consulting.

• He served as the head of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington.
• He worked in providing advisory services through the United Nations Development Program in Arab States.
• He is a member of several scientific economic associations in the United States, Austria, and Egypt.
• He holds a master’s and doctorate in financial economics from Clark and Harvard Universities in the United States.
• He holds a master’s degree in economics from the Faculty of Economics and Political Science at Cairo University.
• He was appointed by President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi to the 2021 Parliament as Chairman of the Planning and Budget Committee in the Egyptian Parliament.
